On a project that the substation division is hired to complete, our substation and underground craftsmen are on the site from start to finish for the scope of work Vaughn Industries is hired to complete. Whether it be installingsub overview pic-2.JPG concrete foundations, installing underground ground grid conductor, underground conduits, setting steel structure, pulling and/or terminating power or control cable, or installation of the multiple other components involved in a substation or underground electric utility system, our craftsmen are there to complete or oversee the work to assure it is done safely, with the highest quality, and with the customer’s satisfaction.

With safety of the utmost importance to all of Vaughn Industries, our substation and underground craftsmen are required to obtain 1910.269 OSHA training and certification, substation entry training, and heavy equipment training and certification. This is only a portion of the training that Vaughn Industries provides and/or requires their substation and underground craftsmen to obtain to assure each craftsman has the knowledge and capability to complete any task given to them safely and professionally.  As you can find in the list of the Substation and Underground capabilities, Vaughn Industries can be your “one call” contractor of choice for your high
