North Central Electric 2008 FEMA Rebuild

Vaughn Industries L.L.C. submitted a sealed bid proposal to North Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. on 3/25/08 for approximately 33 miles of single phase rebuild and 1.5 miles of three phase rebuild. This project is the last of North Central Electric’s FEMA rebuild work as a result of the January 2005 ice storm that devastated the state of Ohio.

Vaughn Industries L.L.C. is going to complete closer to 38 miles of single phase and 1.5 miles of three phase rebuild by June 1, 2009 to partner with North Central Electric in completing their FEMA rebuild work on time and enabling them to maximize the FEMA help that was available to them.

This project included many challenges from building 40 miles of line in a 12 month period to completing a three phase crossing over a four lane divided highway that was completed incident free.
